Kellie-Jay says she wishes SGreen had made her choice and been done with it, not push it on the world as the only choice. The initial appointments and quick decisions SG and her team made became the standard, and they took away OUR choices about how to help our son. 2/

I agree with KJ. I can’t fault SG for making the choices she made at the time of panic and upheaval, even though I disagree with them. I CAN, however, fault her for continuing to spew this nonsense long after it’s been proven harmful. 3/

I have an acquaintance who used to be a friend. She’s a nurse. She listened and empathized with our situation. She was worried for my son and listened to me tell her about the risks and new discoveries about youth transition. I thought she would take what she learned and think 4/

about it objectively, from the perspective of a health care professional. But she didn’t. She reverted to “you know your gender at 2yrs old” etc. When she began to see the truth and imagine herself acting on it, she couldn’t bear it. Her image was too important to her 5/

even above her duty and code of ethics as a health care professional. She then came out even stronger in her advocacy and insistence that TWAW and youth should call the shots.

She (and people like her) work hard to stay ignorant of the facts, no matter the cost to others. 6/

That’s her choice, but NOT as a nurse. SG has that choice as a parent but NOT as a powerful influence for doctors, frightened parents, and confused children. This is an abuse of power and it’s selfish.

I agree with KJM (Posie Parker) and that is a choice I’m allowed to make.7/7
