Deep into NIKOLA😂 @jpr007 @Nikola_Truth @WholeMarsBlog @Stringbell27 @fragger911 @origamicyber @Kristennetten
These are probably the electrolysers NIKOLA ordered from Nel ASA in Norway. Trevor speaks of an order worth at least 30 million US dollars for 5 of these electrolysers
Nel Hydrogen uses it to promote the most efficient electrolysers in the world. According to advertising statements, the energy required is between 3.8 kWh and 4.4 kWh per Nm² of hydrogen.

Let's check...
Assuming that the upper calorific value of hydrogen is 3.54 kWh per Nm³. A efficiency of max. 93.16 % and min. of 80.45 % is achieved on the "datasheet". ☝️
During conversion back into electricity, the heat flow (enthalpy) is irretrievably lost and cannot be used for mobility

Therefore, the energy content that can be converted back into electricity at 100% conversion would be only 3 kWh of the original 3.53 kWh from 1NmÂł of hydrogen
Nel Hydrogen states a possible production capacity of 2400 NmÂł up to 3880 NmÂł per hour at normal pressure for the A3880.

This corresponds to a production capacity of 216kg to 350kg per hour, or 5184kg to 8400kg per day at 100% load❗️
All 5 electrolysers have a total production capacity of 25,900 kg to 42,000 kg at 100% utilisation.

NIKOLA advertises with up to 40.000 kg hydrogen daily production. That this is a wishful thinking should be obvious to everyone. ☝️😂
The electrolyser type A3880 of the company Nel Hydrogen consists of 8 times the type A485 which needs a reference power of 2200 kW each. Each A3880 thus requires 17.6 MW of electrical power supply.

And up to 88 MW of electric power is needed for for all 5 Elektrolyzer.

Trevor..
Even if we take the advertising promises as a basis, the energy required for 1 kg of hydrogen is 42.22 kWh to 48.89 kWh.

At Trevor's 0.035 $ per kWh we already come to 1.47 $ to 1.71 $ for each kilogram of hydrogen produced, just for the electricity.
If we take the nominal power of the A3880 as a reference and compare it with the nominal production capacity, the values deteriorate dramatically to 50.4 kWh and up to 81.48 kWh.

This results in energy costs of $1.76 to $2.82 for every kilogram of hydrogen. 😂😂
