A group of several dozens protesters in masks and in distanced groups of 25 is marching past people gathering at the South Side marina for a Trump Boat Parade. Protesters chanting “no Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA” someone on a boat is loudly playing “Proud to be an American”
Now the Trump supporters on boats are playing Toby Keith’s “Courtesy of the Red White and Blue” and dancing. Protesters continue to chant “f*ck Trump”
Now some of the boats with Trump flags are leaving the dock. I count six boats with flags and a jet ski. The eventbrite page for the boat parade says it starts at 11
Grace and Tim came to today’s protest because as Grace says “I don’t feel this administration represents our morals”
