The Left knows exactly why Keir Starmer is doing what he’s doing. And we say it’s wrong.

If you only gain power by nurturing the same prejudices & accepting the same injustices as the far right, then your win is not our win.

You won’t have the base or the support once in power to address what you claim your win will resolve. This was the lesson of the Blair years.

A short term lift for some, but a truly devastating downward trajectory for people of colour, sick & disabled people, students, public sector workers, our economy & our welfare state itself.

We know the system is failing & we’re done making further sacrifices to it.

We are ploughing our energies into making the necessary changes in our psychology and culture, that make another world possible.

And while Centrists roll their eyes & talk “pragmatism”, the truth is, they just want power. For its own ends. They are communal narcissists.

They seek the positive glow of feeling like the grown ups in the room. So liberal, so progressive.

And they hate the Left deeply for exposing them for what they are. Empty, vain, weak people who wouldn’t know solidarity if it but them in the arse.

And so let them chunter on. Because they are the past. They are the same failed humanity that drove us here.
