This Migration Amendment Bill 2020 is exactly what Peter Dutton always dreamed of imposing on all Australians. Aust society resisted his attacks on freedom of speech. Now he wants to achieve his dream, once again in the detention camps.
Definetly the main reason that they are planning to do this is to prevent the refugees from speaking out and exposing the abuse of power by the security and medical companies. They hate freedom of speach because of the crimes they have done in these indefinite prisons.
It’s no secret Dutton hates refugees, particulary those from Manus and Nauru. He has destroyed many lives and families, just imagine what will happen to detainees if we don't hear from them any more. It's really scary to be left completely alone in those dark prisons.
Court system has failed to protect refugees from the cruelty of this horrible man and his department. That’s why he has been able to keep them in indefinite detention for more than seven years for no reason.Having access to the outside world is necessary for detainees
Remember that there hasn’t been any independent investigations into the security and health care companies and deaths in prison camps. Having a phone to communicate with the world is essential, that's why they’re targeting it, nothing else.
Adovates and humanitarian organisations shouldn’t reduce this bill to merely“banning the phones”.Don’t forget that detainees are not criminals. If we only protest their access to phones then it means we agree to their imprisonment. We should also be protesting for their freedom
