Now to be fair, some of these Supervisors probably drive Priuses, which obviously grant them full Moral Authoritah to hijack SFMTA for purposes of populist bloviating about fares.
Never mind the wishes of actual people, who rank better service, not lower fares, among their top priorities. Cost of fares doesn't even rank at all in the top barriers to Muni use.
