Here’s my top 10 delivery deliciousness in the Bay Area with a focus on local businesses in my neighborhood (Richmond, SF). 🍣🍓🥑🍪🥡😷

Things are not easy but we must remain vigilant and hopeful for our community entrepreneurs during Covid. Tip extremely big $. 💚 Ok, top 10:
1/ ABS Seafood ( http://absseafood.com ): They were wholesale only but now delivery. Salmon, collars, scallops, and poke. Frozen items like shrimp, mussels, and mackerel. Order the night before and it arrives the next day! They're recovering from that terrible fire on the pier.
2/ Fruit Jesus ( http://spiritfruit.co ): This long haired SF messiah comes bearing fruit, herbs, butter, cheeses, and olives. Read http://sf.eater.com/2020/4/29/21241653/fruit-jesus-produce-delivery-sf and peep his gorgeousness: http://instagram.com/satyalokah . I have his email if you need, though online ordering is freshly redone.
3/ Yernea Farms ( http://yerena-farms.com ): My few-blocks-away neighbor is the son of farmers in Watsonville, CA. He was a chef at Hayes Street Grill before Covid and is now helping his parents sell online CSA-style. Great veggies and trays of in-season berries. Delivered weekly!
4/ Bread Spread Pickle ( http://breadspreadpickle.com ): Moni and Peterson were previously at The Progress and they're now making, well, bread, spreads, and pickles in the Richmond. They're flavor tinkerers. Add many brown butter cookies and coffee cake. Follow http://instagram.com/bread_spread_pickle.
5/ Driftwood Bread ( http://driftwoodbreadco.com ): Just one person slinging bread by the ocean in the Outer Sunset. Bonus points for delivery map and quotes like "I conduct business with a conscientious balance of value with the realities of conducting business in the 21st century."
6/ Irving's Premium Foods ( http://irvprem.com ): A father n' son baking challah, rolls, and a desserts. They get business fundamentals: "Our secret? We provide a great product and great service. We use whole eggs and higher quality olive oil instead of generic vegetable oil."
7/ Community Grains ( http://communitygrains.com ): Fancy whole grain flours, dry pastas, and half-baked breads. Based in Oakland, ships wherever. I’m not an expert on “Identity Preserved” grains, but they sure seem to be.
8/ Hakashi Sushi ( http://hakashisushi.com ): Must tell you about my bud Julio. He's making *omakase platters*, gorgeous feasts. Free delivery over $100. See http://instagram.com/hakashisushibar  and http://instagram.com/juliozapata2001 . Order the Melanie's Roll (named after my wife). I can hook you up!
9/ Cassava ( http://cassavasf.com ): They’re doing both cook-at-home and prepared meals in the Outer Richmind. @yukaioroi and team are also at the forefront of employee fairness and proper SF politics. Read: https://medium.com/cassava-san-francisco/creating-a-culture-of-caring-what-cassava-is-doing-differently-than-other-restaurants-when-it-2ca4cca4e64e. They have a beautiful new logo and murals too!
10/ SF CHICKENBOX ( http://sfchickenbox.com ): @cdouble2073, of Wing Wings fame, is 410BMORE so you know it’s good for the mind and the soul. The chicken is delivered hot n' crisp -- not simple to achieve. They got a new location on Valencia. He's a good follow too.
11/ Daigo Sushi ( https://www.doordash.com/store/daigo-sushi-san-francisco-886358): One more! Perfect nigiri and plentiful rolls delivered. We live a few blocks away. They’re important to us. We've had many _long_ evenings at Daigo, including our annual Fish & Friends. I'm ordering there tonight! (h/t @amfeng's drawing)
Alright, that’s it for now, I’d love it if you have other recommendations, please send them my way!

Remember, tip very big 💵. Stay safe, but still enjoy. ❤️
And, of course, please support Black-owned businesses in the Bay. So many great places here: https://twitter.com/jeff_weinstein/status/1267283751878356995?s=21 https://twitter.com/jeff_weinstein/status/1267283751878356995
A new gem! This dessert CSA delivery from the former pastry chef at Liholiho: "Not Too Sweet". You order via Instagram DM from Penelope: http://instagram.com/nottoosweet.sf . Her beautiful and elaborate baked goods are an outstanding, if too brief, pick-me-up reprieve for troubled times.
One more: for your in-season cucumber and pepper needs buy from "the last farm of East Palo Alto": http://happyquailfarms.com . They ship quickly via USPS. Super crisp everything.
Another gem: Pie Society -> https://angelapinkerton.com . She has pick up locations across SF and East Bay. See https://www.instagram.com/piesocietypopup/ for the goodies. (We're going with Apple Cran Streusel and Passionfruit Meringue for this year's quarantine Thanksgiving.)
