1. Turn your music off. Music & live events are affected.
2. Turn off watching comedians. They started in comedy clubs & theatre tours. You don't care, remember?
3. Turn off the TV. That's thousands of arts creatives.

4. Turn off films on Amazon/Netflix. Same deal.
5. Don't you dare put on Disney + to watch Hamilton. That's arts schools, writers, musicians, theatre professionals, producers, stage managers, lighting & sounding designers work.

6. Don't say you care about prioritising more important things in the economy. The arts is a £111bn industry, more than oil, gas, cars, aviation combined.
7. Don't ever say you care about jobs again if the only jobs you value are the ones like your own.

8. Not to mention that not everyone in is a performer. There are plenty of admin staff, producers, fundraisers, project managers, tour managers, assistants.
9. Never give it all that about British culture being the best. You were happy to let it die.

10. Don't get excited about summer festivals. You don't get to go. And neither does anyone else. Because noone helped the arts which is what festivals exhibit.
11. Don't moan you're bored and there's nothing for kids to do. Many arts organisations run workshops, creativity ...

Workshops through holidays, museums have kid friendly exhibits & learning resources. Not to mention again that Ofsted has included both the arts in the new curriculum and praised the arts for their ability to reach traditionally "hard-to-engage" kids.

12. Don't reach for that podcast in the gym. Chances are people you're listening to learned skills on being educational, presentable, funny & engaging from resources & people pioneering formats from the arts.

How's that quarantine looking now?
