Equality of the sexes is a huge topic and before we get there, I will echo the fears of many men; being attacked for voicing a thought, being in an argument where sentiments overtakes logic, having to resort to the "let it go, you're a man" because the discourse got bad.
A lot of women can get away with calling a man poor, insulting his sexual prowess, attacking his anatomical defects but a man takes a lot of bashing if he states the obvious about an overweight woman.

A man should be able to say "you're fat" to an obese woman without being....
attacked for body shaming. Same way a woman would tell a man who's gifted in height he's short without the unnecessary fear of retribution.

We need to remove these safeguards. I treat my female friends as I do my male friends. Doing that gives me peace, I don't control anyone.
As it ought to be! Every individual is responsible for their actions, so if a woman picks a fight, as her male friend I'm going to fight alongside her and not for her.

If she comes up short in paying her bills, I will step in as a friend and not as a man responsible for her.
Men also need to stop sexualizing women they are not involved with cos that's where the misconceptions begin. "You're supposed to be more feminine"
Just as women need to weaponizing their feminity. "I'm a woman Na, do it for me"

Only then can we start making progress. I end here
