The whole “tech journalists try to intimidate us into silence” narrative is hilarious to me because of how inaccurate it is. When I worked in startup land, I once disagreed with a VC on twitter (not even a feud, a polite disagreement) and was reprimanded for it.

Nobody is trying to silence or intimidate the tech elite lol. My theory is that they see any criticism as an attempt to silence because that’s what THEY do to people.
