The Davis Center, where he is currently affiliated, has also condemned the article, but for some reason also brings up freedom of speech

Shklyarov should lose his @DaviesCenter affiliation over this. That centre cannot claim to support BIPOC colleagues and also have this guy affiliated there
If Shklyarov is a member of Slabic Studies organizations, they should also be taking action here. @aseeestudies @KubikJan have you seen this?
This is the kind of thing our Black colleagues and students have to deal with. If we meant what we said a few weeks ago about anti-racist policies, he should also be out of ASEEES, if he is a member.
Everyone wrote some nice words about BLM and the need for anti-racism in Slavic Studies. Now is the time to act like we mean it. @DCRES_Harvard @aseeestudies - Shklyarov needs to go.
