I'm pro-masks but anti-bullshit which is why I still grit my teeth when I see "masks are proven effective".

I'm similarly annoyed by people who take these words say "Ha! See! Masks aren't effective, I don't have to wear them!"

Down at the core, humans are just not great at managing risk and uncertainty without an enormous amount of discipline and practice.
