If there’s one thing I’ve learnt over the last few years as a Spurs fan, especially here on social media, is learning to control my emotions, sometimes it will overwhelm me, I can’t help that, it’s who I am, but I now blinks what to look at and see exactly what problems we have.
So in hindsight, not only of tonight’s game but of the overall narrative of what has happened to us all through this season, we all are in the same mindset that a new approach and a rebuilding of the team is needed for next season, it’s not just what we want, it’s what we need.
There’s no use blaming everyone on Jose Mourinho for what happened today, yes you can question tactics, team selection and certain things but you can’t blame him for not having players that he wants and the appalling lack of top quality that is sorely missing in our squad.
I can pretty safely say that 50% of the team needs to be moved on in the summer, this is not suggesting, I’m telling Spurs, as we should all be, that this needs to happen in order to fix the mess that the team is in and give Jose Mourinho what he needs to rebuild this Spurs side.
This has nothing to do with agendas, favouritism, backing certain managers, what players we like and should be given a chance, this is what needs to be done to repair what’s been damaged and to make Tottenham Hotspur a competitive top Premier League side, once again next season.
Wether you love him, like him or hate him, Jose Mourinho needs to be backed and given the opportunity to sign players that he needs to work in his system and to remove the deadwood in the team that have been given too many chances and needs to be moved on this summer.
For starters, here’s the list of who I’d keep next season, feel free to agree or not but this is just my list of players I’d stick with:

Lloris, Davies, Alderweireld, Tanganga, Dier, Sessegnon, Winks, Skipp, Sissoko, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Gedson, Dele, Son, Bergwijn, Kane
And here’s who I’d sell, a combination of players who aren’t good enough, past their best and will never make it at the level that we need, again feel free to debate:

Vorm, Gazzaniga, Vertonghen, Aurier, Rose, Sanchez, Foyth, Walker-Peters, Carter-Vickers, Clarke, Lamela, Lucas
Now here’s a shortlist of players we should be signing this summer, not all of them but any of these would easily improve the quality of our current side and should be heavily recruited by Spurs this summer:
Tom Pope
Ruben Dias
Dayot Upamecano
Donny Van de Beek
Nicolas Tagliafico
Pierre Emile-Højbjerg
Boubakary Soumare
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic
Kim Man-Jae
Jamal Lewis
Timothy Castagne
Danny Ings

2nd GK, defenders, full-backs, proper DM, creative att let and a 2nd striker option.
We will be stuck nowhere if we don’t invest this summer, and my eyes and every other Spurs fans eyes will be pointing at you...

Daniel Levy.
Many Spurs fans, including myself, have tolerated you for many years, due to the combination of shrewd buys and extraordinary performances from managers, but now all the swords are beginning point at your bald head. (No offence to any Spurs baldies out there you’re awesome)
Also let me explain to Levy that it’s for his own benefit to fix this mess out, because without your beloved Champions League income every season to help keep the club stable, given how much you obsess over that, it’s your imperative to back Jose and get this team back up there.
So let’s just get through the last 6 games of the season and then once the transfer window opens up, get this plan in motion, it’s now or never for us, do not screw this up Levy.

Over to you.
