Oh, it's been a mad week, hasn't it? So I am going to do #VintageMagTweets tomorrow, and tonight I'm having a little awards ceremony. We'll call them the Vole Awards for people who've had a heck of a time lately but have kept their heads up.

Here is a very tiny toad, determinedly scrambling across the path. I was worried about it, but it got there safely.

And here, to finish, is the best shot I have ever got of a water shrew. They are one of our smallest mammals, but they're fierce hunters and super-quick!

Anyway, I love the interactions I have on Twitter and the inspirational people I've met and the kindness I've been shown. I've tried to show my appreciation tonight here, clumsily. xxx
