To the white attorneys on #lawtwitter standing against @DiplomaPriv4All. This pandemic may be “extra time to study” for a subset of disengaged students who look like you, but students like myself are grieving. Familial deaths and racism are not minor inconveniences.

Ignoring the #barexam’s clear racial bias is complicity with institutional racism. The best agents for change are those current attorneys who overcame arbitrary barriers to entry and use their credibility and authority to bring justice into the system.

Not because it directly benefits them, but because it lifts others up. Because they recognize future students don’t have to go though unnecessary hazing rituals just because they did.
