1. A handful of people set up camp at the war memorial near Parliament Hill last night to continue their protest.

Wayne Peters has released a few videos today complaining that they're being evicted.
2. He has not shared details as to why, although we suspect that, if true, it could have something to do with the attack on Rideau Hall earlier today.

One of his main complaints is their alleged evicted when @XROttawa was allowed to camp there.
3. As a refresher, friends of Wayne harassed @XROttawa relentlessly, even trashing their camp.

Here's Rick Boswick complaining that it's "disrespectful" to camp at the war memorial - the same place Peters is at. https://twitter.com/VestsCanada/status/1213852025357774849?s=20
4. In his videos, Peters goes on a rant about the pandemic, claiming it's a conspiracy, while maintaining they are being persecuted.
5. In his next video he calls for "reinforcements" and compares it to the Alamo and Custer's last stand, using dramatic language to describe this supposed predicament.

States he doesn't want violence, but basically expects it.
6. He complains again about XR Ottawa, calling them disrespectful (lol), and again hinting that he's expecting violence.

He wants to be oppressed so bad.
7. Again, this is all coming from Wayne, so who knows how truthful it really is. He's known for exaggeration and using any situation to martyr himself.

That said, they do have a right to be there, just as anyone else does, even though they harass anyone *else* who does it.
8. Apparently they're still there, hours later.

So, who knows.
9. UPDATE:

After declaring that their camp is "like the Alamo," that they are in peril and the only ones saving Canada, and that they are expecting some kind of harsh retribution ...

...

NOTHING HAPPENED. https://www.facebook.com/cody.haller.79/videos/10158792458008760
10. I'm not bothering to cut the video. Folks can check the link.

Cops went to to the camp, the protesters did some impressive performative bootlicking, and the cops told them to be safe and left.
11. And that's what should happen. They have a right to be there, as long as it's safe.

It's super funny watching these warrior-for-Canada types kiss so much ass after Wayne made such a big stink.
lmao how’s that butt taste, Wayne?

What happened to the guy who was going to go down fighting and not take shit from a corrupt system? No, you just went on about how much you ❤️ police and aren’t “like them” who want change.

Real revolutionary.
