There’s a segment of phone bloggers who have been so unfairly snarky towards LG and kept mocking the brand when it’s down, yet they don’t realize how unfair they’re being when they write op-Ed’s wondering why LG has fallen behind. Like this one.
The G8 got “every” single feature wrong? Dude then goes on and lists two examples and they’re actually the same thing (the TOF cam). Both of these can be easily ignored and the phone peformed JUST AS WELL as the S10 in everywhere else: camera, running apps, battery, etc
There was no major flaw with the G8 (or the V40) that ever came anywhere close to ruining the whole phone like S8 fingerprint scanner or Pixel 4 battery life. Y’all just being way too harsh.
It’s fair to say the G8 was not exciting looking. Not cutting edge in terms of hardware innovation. Looked bland. But none of these are major dealbreaker flaws. And you guys excuse ALL OF THESE on the iPhone SE and pixels and Oneplus T phones anyway.
