With Mane now 28 and Klopp signing his extension until 2025, Liverpool need to start building for the future.

This thread looks at U21's who, with time, can become Mane's successor for Liverpool.

Sadio Mane is arguably Liverpools best attacker and has been setting the league on fire since he joined. His ability to find space and finish efficiently has been one of the reds best assets.
This season Mane has been in inspired form. Bagging 15 goals and 7 assists so far in the league.

He has outperformed his xG by 3 goals and his clinical finishing has become something Liverpool can rely on, this combined with his movement has made him unstoppable for Liverpool.
To find a Mane replacement we therefore need to look for players with exceptional finishing and attacking movement.

I believe there are three candidates for this:

Myron Boadu
Jonathan David
Patson Daka
First on the list is the 19 year-old Dutchman, Myron Boadu.
Part of AZ's golden generation of dutch players, Boadu is another fantastic Dutch talent.

In the Eredivisie this season he has registered 14 goals and 6 assists in 24 games for his side.
His finishing has been exceptional this season with a shot conversion rate of 0.24%. By comparison Sadio Mane has a shot conversion rate of 0.25%.

With his explosive movement and finishing its easy to see why he could be seen as a Mane replacement.
In the goal below you can see how intelligent of a footballer Boadu is. Throughout the clip he's making himself available for the through ball and gets a tap in as a reward for this.
Boadu is a fantastic option as a Mane replacement. His movement off the ball combined with his precise finishing make him a valuable asset for any club. He's a supreme talent for his age
Next we have Jonathan David. The Canadian plays for Gent and has potential to be one of their best exports in recent times.

The Canadian is a very diverse player, capable of playing all across the frontline, which is why he could be such a useful signing.
He is the most like an out and out winger out of all the other options can lead the front line as well.

Racking up an impressive 18 goals this season with 7 assists, which is indicative of his complete nature as a forward.
The goal below shows both how brilliant he is with ball at his feet but also show that he is an accurate composed finisher.
Jonathan David would be a phenomenal signing for Liverpool. As he is comfortable playing across the front line he could come off the bench for Liverpool before establishing himself as a first team player.
Lastly, Patson Daka is 21 years old and plays for RB Salzburg and is seen as their replacement for Haaland.

The Zambian international has emerged as a fantastic player this season. Following the departure of Haaland he became their no.1 striker and has not dissapointed
He has many of Mane's best assets and they're displayed in the goal below. He is an expert finisher with his shots per goal 0.01 below Haaland's and he frequently makes perfect runs in behind. Like Mane he is a powerful player with his pace and power on show in the goal below
This season he has registered 24 goals and 6 assists in 30 games. Given how Salzburg suffered losing both Haaland and Minamino, Daka has helped drive his side forward.

Also, as he plays under Jesse March he will be familiar with Klopp's press and will work hard for the team.
Daka also seems to have an affection for Liverpool. Prior to Salzburg's Champions league game against Liverpool he stated:

'Playing at Anfield will be a dream come true for me'

With a goals per 90 of 1.2 (Haaland has 1.47 at Salzburg) he looks a top talent.
Overall I feel like Boadu and David are the better players for a Mane replacement, due to their close control. All are capable and have played LW but these two are more complete in the role.
