When Draupadi was granted a boon by Bhisma

During the initial days of the war, Kaurava lost a large number of its soldiers and were struggling to defeat the mighty Pandava’s.
Enraged by this, Duryodhan taunts Pitamaha Bhishma for his failure in killing the Pandava's stating that Pitamaha is partial towards the sons of Pandu and doesn't want them killed!
This infuriates Pitamaha and he vows to kill all the Pandava's the next day . ( i.e he will make planet Earth ‘Nishpandav’)

Listening to this , Shri Krishna becomes a little anxious because he knew that Pitamaha is valliant warrior who can easily kill the Pandava's .
So he goes to the abode of Bheeshma taking Panchali along with him. He asks Panchali to touch Pitamahas feet and seek his blessings. She obeys and goes inside .

Pitamah was meditating and as per Shri Krishna's command she touches his feet.
He sensed the sound of her bangles and knew that she is a married women. So he said “ Akhand Saubhagyavati Bhava” ( “May you forever be married and steer away from the curse of widowhood embroidered onto).
And then he opens his eyes while Panchali is still sitting by his side and lord Krishna is waiting outside. He couldn't believe his eyes that it's Draupadi to whom he granted his blessings and now he cannot kill any of the Pandava's due to his blessings!
With a little smirk, he asks Draupadi “ Who sent you here in my abode to seek my blessings?” “ Govind sent me here” states Draupadi! He smiles again as he knew that only Shri Krishna could think of such an intellectual strategy to save the Pandava's.
This is also one of the reasons for married women's to wear bangles as it symbolises well being of your spouse !

Indeed #Mahabharata is full of interesting and intriguing stories .
