I broke down Florida COVID-19 positive tests from June 24th-30th by age bracket:

24-34: (10,366) 23.3%
15-24: (8,783) 19.8%
35-44: (7,441) 16.7%
45-54: (6,367) 14.3%
55-64: (4,641) 10.4%
65-74: (2,606) 5.9%
5-14: (1,472) 3.3%
75-84 (1,249) 2.8%
0-4: (796) 1.8%
85+ (728) 1.6%
Currently (over the last week) 15-44 year olds are accounting for 60% of all cases. 15-54 y/o are 75% of all cases.

Despite being 21% of the population, over 65 are only 10% of the positive tests in Florida right now. (This is a significant downward trend).
This is the huge difference between what FL is experiencing vs what New York experiences. Under 35s are close to half of the new cases, but they only make up 8% of all hospitalizations.
There’s a lot of really good data for Florida. This updates daily but the percents are all tests since testing started. I pulled the data from the most recent release and from one I had downloaded a week ago https://floridadisaster.org/globalassets/covid19/dailies/state_reports_20200701.pdf
For instance here’s a chart pull from June 25. It has the 65+ at 18% of all cases, but that counts cases since the beginning. That percent is almost half that in current new cases.
