Celtics transition double drag vs Sixers (January 9, 2020).
Kemba Walker punished the "Drop" coverage twice by scoring 3p shots. (1/4)
Sixers changed their defensive coverage, switching the first pick and playing "ICE" on the second. Celtics big man switched his angle and Kemba Walker had an open 3p shot, because Horford stayed back. (2/4)
Sixers modified their defense once more, by having the big man staying higher. This time, Kemba Walker exploited the forced miss-match by making a pull-up 2p shot.
Sixers kept the same coverage (switch & ICE). Marcus Smart found another solution, by passing to Enes Kanter and getting the ball right back, dribbling around him and getting an open 3p shot. Celtics scored 14p in the first half using double drag action. (4/4)
