The League Two season is officially concluded, so I'm having a look back at my Team-by-Team predictions from the summer today. One or two of them I'm delighted with, others less so...
24. Macclesfield (finished 23rd)
All credit to the #Silkmen - thought their season would be defined by the faults of Amar Alkadhi's ownership regime but it's great that players like Fiacre Kelleher and Theo Archibald have been able to shine in tough circumstances.

23. Port Vale (finished 8th
)
#PVFC have proved me wrong. The Shanahans have done a wonderful job of re-engaging supporters while Askey has brought some tactical continuity. Really impressed with James Gibbons, Nathan Smith, Tom Conlon and Joe Worrall. Back on an upward curve.

22. #MorecambeFC (finished 22nd)
Like what I've seen of Derek Adams so far, he seems to have brought a new level of drive and ruthlessness to the club and recruited very well. Need to keep Lavelle, Diagouraga and Mendes-Gomes, add a target man and replace key loanees.

21. #CamUTD (finished 16th)
Not sure I agreed with the decision to give Mark Bonner a 2 year deal after 4 wins as caretaker - rather Dunnesque. Squad doesn't excite me too much but I like Kyle Knoyle and Harry Darling, hopefully more consistency to come from Mitov and Hannant.

20. Oldham (finished 19th)
Credit to #OAFC for being one of the best attacking sides in the league after Danny Rowe came in and Zak Dearnley returned, even amid the off-field sagas. Bit of work for Dino to replace Jonny Smith and make the team more competitive off the ball.

19. Carlisle (finished 18th)
Chris Beech has shored things up at #CUFC, adding a healthy dose of pragmatism. We know they'll be solid but their chances of closing the gap on the top 7 will hinge on whether they can retain or adequately replace key loanees like Watt and Kayode.

18. Leyton Orient (finished 17th)
Consolidation season for #LOFC. Shown faith in their head coach/DoF structure by foregoing a bigger name; I like Embleton's honesty but unsure how far he can take them. Big squad so imagine Cisse will be only signing. Liking Brophy and Wright.

17. #CrawleyTown (finished 13th)
Delivered some strong shot data all season and looked good going forward in Sussex, especially since John Yems took charge with Lubala, Nadesan and Palmer all thriving. Only 1 away win all season though.

16. #WalsallFC (finished 12th)
"Clarke wants to build a team to challenge – but first he must correct the fundamental basics."
That's what he's done this season, establishing a core of players he can trust with a smattering of quality from Wes McDonald.
Something to build on.

15. #SalfordCity (finished 11th)
Didn't think the promotion-winning squad was good enough to go up again, so was likely to take 3 transfer windows to make them competitive at this level. Made some fantastic additions in January which could be a sign of things to come.

14. #Scunthorpe (finished 20th)
Many thought 14th was harsh but they've actually finished 6 places lower! Timing of Hurst's exit suggests it wasn't fuelled by on-field reasons, club seems to want to go down a developmental route. Yet to be sold on Russ Wilcox though.

13. Northampton (finished 7th)
Was concerned about the volume of first teamers added in the summer and lack of resale value, which put them under pressure to win promotion. Fair play to Keith Curle, he's delivered with 2 incredibly strong performances in the Play-Offs. #NTFC

12. Cheltenham (finished 4th)
Thought #CTFC would progress with a stable squad after a good second half of the season - but didn't expect THIS much progression. Michael Duff has recruited very smartly whilst finding new levels in the likes of Ben Tozer and Chris Clements.

11. Grimsby (finished 15th)
Holloway has been the perfect man to re-enthuse #GTFC fans disillusioned with Fenty's regime and they've picked up under him. Charles Vernam has been their biggest attacking threat and Mattie Pollock looks a huge talent at the back.

10. #StevenageFC (finished 24th)
Rarely looked like scoring... short on creativity and tended to spurn the few chances they did create. After the 4-0 win at Cambridge I thought the January recruits might help but they've since lost 8 in a row. Huge re-building job for Revell.

9. Plymouth Argyle (finished 3rd)
Impressed at how quickly Ryan Lowe has implemented his 3-1-4-2 setup. They've shown the ability to win games in different ways, sometimes smooth passing, other times digging in. Hardie and Jephcott made a real impact midway through. #PAFC

8. Bradford City (finished 9th)
Wasn't convinced #BCAFC's problems from the previous 18 months would disappear and really, they haven't. Showed some defensive solidity in the first half of the season that eventually dissipated. Connor Wood probably their most consistent player.

7. Colchester United (finished 6th)
Progress in the sense it's #ColU's first top 7 finish since relegation in 2016, went 16 unbeaten and enjoyed a great cup run. The squad they had though, was arguably capable of a stronger top 3 push. Will go into a 5th season at this level.

6. Swindon Town (finished 1st)
Richie Wellens has done an outstanding job at #STFC. They've done really well to take top spot, especially considering injury issues at CB. Doyle, Yates, Doughty obviously brilliant; Caddis brought leadership and Grant did the dirty work.

5. #NewportCounty (finished 14th)
12 clean sheets gave them a stable platform but there seemed to be balance issues in attack; seems either 2 of Matt, Amond and Abraham never quite gave them the right blend of qualities. Regression forgivable though given budgetary rank.

4. Exeter City (finished 5th)
Done very well to be in contention; Aaron Martin, Nicky Law, Archie Collins, Nigel Atangana and Randell Williams have had excellent seasons. Could do with more physicality at the back next season and a quick, prolific strike partner for Bowman.

3. #CreweAlex (finished 2nd
)
Fantastic season from David Artell's side, it's been a joy to watch them this season and I hope they can keep some of their young talent to make a mark on League One.
Thanks for making me look like I know what I'm talking about. #GabKnows

2. Forest Green (finished 10th)
3 wins in their last 18 league games saw them plummet out of promotion contention. Starting to question whether the way Mark Cooper conducts himself affects the respect he has in the dressing room. Ebou Adams has been fantastic though. #FGR

1. Mansfield Town (finished 21st
)
A deeply disappointing season for #MTFC - they've shown goalscoring potential in flashes but defensively it's been a mess. Like the signings of Jamie Reid and Marek Stech, feel David Sharpe was a key appointment too.

So overall...
Got Morecambe nailed on.
Predicted 9 teams within one place of their actual position.
18 were within 6 places.
Way off though on Port Vale, Cheltenham, Newport, Forest Green, Mansfield and Stevenage.
Will take that
