7 years ago today we launched @curbsideokc. Since publishing our first issue in 2013, the community has rallied around our vendors in green vests, breaking down stigmas and lifting up our neighbors in need, $2 at a time. 1/6
Through hundreds of thousands of interactions over the past 7 years, our customers have forged connections and relationships with folks they may not have otherwise, reshaping how we collectively view and talk about homelessness in our city. 2/6
And, along the way, hundreds of people have ended their homelessness, one magazine at a time.

I could talk about the sleepless nights or blood, sweat, and tears, but right now I’m just grateful. 3/6
Grateful to the countless vendors, customers, donors, and sponsors who have believed in us and breathed life into program. Grateful to the many writers and designers who have made Curbside a truly world-class magazine. Grateful to the City and community that has shaped me. 4/6
And, more than anything, grateful for the opportunity to lose sleep, sweat, bleed, and cry doing what I love.

When we say that Curbside was built by the community, we mean it. 5/6
Our readers are making change in our city and lifting up our vendors one interaction and one magazine at a time. So thank you for 7 years, OKC! And cheers to an exciting few months ahead as we continue to build supportive employment opportunities for our neighbors in need. 6/6
