Like, I have a 40 minute talk prepared on violence and the queer community. I can do ten on how we've claimed the symbols of violence as our own to defang them, basically at any time.
We fought very hard for the right to define ourselves. Quit taking it away from each other.

Don't turn into the oppressors just to try to protect your own patch of turf. Ever. If the answer to "is this what the oppressors do?" is ever "yes, but it's okay when I do it because..." you need to stop and have a think. Maybe consult an elder queer.
Ace people belong. Trans people belong. Bi people, pan people. You're a lesbian if you say you are. Nonbinary people are real, and belong. No one is doing their identity AT you.
