On June 30, 2019, I published my first byline @FantasyPros. Today, just a day and a year later, I ran my 100th (161st including a few @BettingProsNFL).
To celebrate, I'm excited to share that I'll be working as a part-time fantasy football expert and on the news desk this year! https://twitter.com/FantasyPros/status/1278399477569728513

I'm really excited about the chance to work in sports media before I head to law school.
In polarized times, sports offer us a common language that we can use to discuss difficult topics across divisions in our charged political climate.
That's more important now than ever.

Regardless, I'd like to express my gratitude toward those who helped me get here.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would get paid to write about fantasy sports, and it wouldn't be possible without the awesome folks @FantasyPros like Blaine.
Thank you all.

I'd also like to thank the incredibly welcoming fantasy community.
Guys like @MikeTagliereNFL, @FantasyFerguson, @AmbrosinoNFL, @FantasyGhigs, @ZaktheMonster, @TheFootballPot, and many others who I can't fit here have made the past year such a great experience for me.

But I might not be here at all if @ayeecompton hadn't pushed me to write about sports.
I picked up the satire column for @sannuich's sports section at the Wheel and got to roast, well, just about everyone. She let me have (maybe too much) fun with it:

I used those articles and some more serious ones that I'd written for @rjcallahan16 to apply as a freelancer last year, and the rest is history.
I also owe some big thanks to @mloudacris, @NicoleSadek, @naiknrj, and @direemblem for their advice, support, and patience.

Now the NFL just needs to find a safe way to play the 2020 season and I'm all set!
