Recently there are a lots of people in the bc fandom taking about that there are no tension in the current arc, and so in this thread I will highlight most/all of the tension within this arc. The first thing is the dark triad’s objective which are as followed
Zeno: capture of William vangeance, Dante: capture of Yami( and now maybe Vanessa and grey ), vanica: killing of the “wisdom” of the heart kingdom e.g loro. In the first act the tension was set automatically with Zeno’s group attacking the golden dawn and killing its members
There is a great panel when yuno finally gets to the hq and he sees some of its members already dead and the following chapters we see the tension growing as the chapters focus on Klaus and co fighting against a dark disciple and ending with a cliffhanger of Zeno beaten William
The final tension of the first act was Zeno vs yuno in which yuno loses and is close to death but William as a good captain had preplanned spells ready to heal everyone who was still alive. The second act was yami and co vs Dante
There are three tension within the seance act. the first was asta vs Dante in which we got to see a hint of Asta’s past and also asta lose control. The second tension was Dante taking an interest in both Vanessa and grey and most likely capturing them as well.
The last tension was Dante vs yami as if he loses we might see Vanessa, grey and yami go to the Spode kingdom. The last/second to last act (since yami and Dante isn’t finished )is the heart kingdom. We had about 3-4 tension scenes
the first being the civilian getting hurt/ every guardian, but gaja were defeated and we see that luck and co has to bring them down. The second was when vanica appears and says that the dark disciplie will keep fighting unless she is defeated.
the third was vanica/megculia completely destroying Noelle and co. and capturing loro, and the last was in the recent chapter with the blow up of the dark disciple and seemly the heart kingdom cast. All in all this arc does have its problems but “tension” isn’t one of them
