so look. I'm not saying things are deteriorating around the world, but I am telling you that today we are going to make a screwdriver. orange juice? vodka? you're there. let's begin
first get some vodka. the terrible stuff--vodka that sounds like an irish guy made it--you want to avoid. the top-shelf stuff you don't want to bother mixing with orange juice. aim for center mass on this one
the orange juice... who cares. but fresh squeezed is going to taste better.

take two ounces of vodka and put it in a lowball glass full of ice. fill the rest with orange juice. stir. that's a screwdriver.
if you do the same thing with grapefruit juice (and why would you? grapefruit juice is a disappointment at best), that's a greyhound. if you do it with cranberry juice, you have a cape cod. equal parts orange and cranberry? a madras. boom, knowledge
so don't feel bad that I gave you a pointlessly simple recipe. revel in the fact that you got four recipes and the names of some drinks you can order and feel somewhat good about because they sound better than "screwdriver"
garnish with an orange twist or a cherry. or a flag. just not the taiwan or hk independence flag.
