Please help mediate a minor domestic dispute:
Background: Normally I work all day on the 3rd floor, then walk downstairs at 6pm, feed cat, make dinner. At ~11pm I walk upstairs to 2nd floor, take shower, give cat a bedtime treat (1 dried minnow), go to bed.

Today was different
Today I had done a late afternoon dance class so I needed a shower. But it was already 6pm. I walked downstairs, gave cat her dinner, then walked upstairs to take a shower.
The two disputes:
The two disputes:
1. Cat believes she should get a minnow at 6:30pm even though it is not bedtime & she just had dinner. Her logic is that she always gets a minnow right after I take a shower. I contend it is a bedtime minnow. Her lawyer says it is a shower minnow & she is owed 1 minnow. Thoughts?
2. I then walked downstairs to make my own dinner. Cat now states she is owed a 2nd dinner because I walked downstairs. I said dinner is once at 6pm. Her lawyer says every walk downstairs must be followed by an additional dinner & she is therefore owed another dinner. Thoughts?
update: There was no bedtime shower like usual (since I had already taken a shower) and I just brushed my teeth & came out of the bathroom to find the cat was VERY uncertain about whether there would be a minnow. Hesitant quiet half-meows. She was delighted to get a minnow!
Followup: then a housefly got into the bedroom, which caused tremendous excitement & a lot of mutual consultation about hunting strategies, so it really has been a very exciting day all around
