@DouglasKMurray Can you please draw attention to this? Barr is a blue-tick stroking, double-dealing misogynist and has had Baroness Emma Nicholson removed from her post at @TheBookerPrizes, a prize she helped create. He's now trying to wiggle out of his transphobic early tweets.

He had her 'cancelled' supposedly because of what she did 7 yrs ago (vote against same-sex marriage). Yet here he is trying to wiggle out of transphobic tweets he posted. So, we're supposed to forgive & forget that Barr erred. Meanwhile, at his instigation, Nicholson is fired?

I would vote for same-sex marriage. I don't agree with Nicholson on a number of things. She is religious, conservative. I'm not. Yet she has been castigated for this vote. And the fact that makes me more pissed off than anything is this:

Barr conspired (with trans "model" Munroe Bergdorf, to have Nicholson removed fm post. Not because of the vote 7 yrs ago (of course not, because if so, why now?) But because Nicholson has been helping women to stand up for their rights against ludicrous demands of the trans lobby

This is the ONLY reason why this has happened. Barr and Bergdorf conspired, they worked together, to ensure that Nicholson would be fired.

But Barr has refused to answer questions about why he hasn't challenged in the past either Kenneth Baker or David Willetts who also has a dodgy past of voting re LGB matters. The truth is Barr and Bergdorf are punishing Nicholson for standing up to the trans lobby with women.
