breaks my heart to see AQNB under threat. They have tirelessly supported independent art, musicians, minority discourses, practices, outsides, countercultures, microverses. It is the link that joins an entire cultural diaspora. If you can; please support https://www.aqnb.com/2020/07/01/the-deep-real-aqnbs-first-artist-statement-podcast-featuring-katja-novitskova-launches-a-subscription-drive-in-a-period-of-mutual-redefinition/
utterly blows my mind how any one single member of the idle rich that populate the art world could do more for culture than their useless "art philanthropy" will achieve in their entire lives, for comparative pennies, just by backing AQNB and letting them continue their work
I reckon theres at least 100 people who follow me alone for whom AQNB would have been the first place their work was documented, broadcast or subject to a thoughtful critique or writeup. If its meant something to you, spread the word
I absolutely love their silent policy of not posting pictures of artists. It is such a deeply reverential space for work and ideas, not a platform for self promotion or ego. It is a beautiful platform in a world desperately lacking them
