Many times new technology appears to break the laws or just don’t fit into the frameworks at all.

Why? B/c regulations never anticipate inflection points in user behavior.

Personal tokens are an excellent example of this.
While it’s easy to make fun of people trying new technology like personal tokens that don’t really fit into old legal frameworks written almost 100 years ago.

Lawyer: “I can read!”

Everyone else: “I can think.”
It’s a lot harder to be the first person through the door, pushing and pulling new technology forward and culture in the process.

I respect ✊ the first people through the door like @AlexMasmej’s personal token ($ALEX) among the many others who were there before him.
We are humans. Our thinking evolves first followed by our tech.

Our laws are always last because they require momentum of thought and consensus after it’s cool.
After all the mighty state approved corporation didn’t exist until we changed the laws to say it did.

We had agreements between partners. Later we created state sanctioned corporations with all the bells and whistles like limited liability that came with it.
And, yes. Not all new technology works out.

After all life’s an experiment if you’re doing it right.
So don’t be that guy. You know who you are. Yelling across twitter about how you can’t.

Let’s talk about how we can.
Be cool. Experiment. Push the envelope. Push our thoughts. Push our culture.
To name a few other personal token pioneers besides $ALEX

@pet3rpan_ ($MAGIC)
@ameensol ($PEW)
@bramanathan ($CNSL)

I salute you.
And, while I’m at it. Fuck it.

DM me to buy some $LAW.

Feel free to break it while you’re at it.
Details and frameworks for $LAW are still TBD but we’ll figure it out together.

So join me.
PS : This is not a solicitation of investment. It’s an offer to innovate.
