New Mexico reports 130 new cases today, including what @govmlg calls the "grim milestone" of 500 deaths related to #covid19
"Rapid responses" to positive cases in businesses remain a target for health department testing. The state has conducted 238 of those since May 11. But a surge in requests for those is occurred, with 44 new ones initiated today, says Health Secretary Kathy Kunkel.
News from New Mexico on #covid19 is not good. The seven-day average has a sharp upslope, says Human Services Sec. David Scrase. "This is really, really concerning to us," he says, noting cases are increasing in every region of the state.
