#BreakingNews: Mayor Jenny Durkan has signed an executive order at 2 AM & descended on the East Prescient a few hours later and arrested at least 31 protestors. The Seattle Police Department has created a new larger barricade zone to keep protesters out & have stated that (1/x)
NO MEDIA is allowed entry to the zone unless they are escorted in by police. @WWConverge luckily has an office inside the zone & may possibly be the only live camera. (2/x)
There are reports of citizen's that live within the new police barricade getting asked to leave if they do not have a license proving that their address is behind the barricade.

1) On Friday the Mayor held a meeting with hand selected "Community Members" also with no media access to state that the ecology blocks surrounding Cal Anderson Park would be removed but the footprint of the protesters at the East Prescient with no timeline for removal. (4/x)
2) Yesterday the Mayor sent a letter to city council asking them to remove Councilmember Kshama Sawant which is in clear retaliation of Sawant stating she would file articles of impeachment upon a coalition led march to Durkan's home. (5/5)
