The 280 characters limit is a great constraint.

It forces you to think simple and clear.

However, there's HUGE value coming out of threads as well.

So I decided I am going to do a Thread Challenge.

1 thread every single day of July.

The first one: Online Trust.

ONLINE TRUST

So hard to earn.

So easy to lose.

And truly a difference maker.

Here are 5 keys to becoming more trustworthy online.

(1/6)
1/ Interaction

People trust real people.

People to whom they can talk to.

People to whom they can ask questions.

People to whom they feel they can reach out.

Be a friend first, a seller second.

(2/6)
2/ Consistency

Worst turn off:

Having a great first experience.

Then having an awful second one.

That becomes a customer that no longer believes in you.

Trust is about regularly delivering value.

Every. Single. Time.

(3/6)
3/ Patience

It's really difficult to earn trust overnight.

Trust is, in most cases, a matter of time.

My advice:

Play for the long game or do not play at all.

(4/6)
4/ Commitment

Say that you are going to do something.

And then actually do it.

Promise and fulfill.

No space for broken agreements.

(5/6)
5/ Be human

Really, it's not that difficult.

- Show genuine interest
- Listen to your audience
- Understand their real problems

We are not robots. We want sincere relationships.
