Not sure how many people will understand this, but I just finished #lastofus2 and I feel numb. I can't explain how I feel. I read the critic reviews followed by the user's reviews. There was so much hate in the latter. (1/n) There'll be spoilers.
But this game was about perspectives. There was a gay couple and a female bodybuilder who was built like an ox. Which game would have the audacity to bring in so many taboos like this? (2/n)
I can't understand why people hated the graphics and the gameplay. This was hands down the best I've ever played and the AI was on a different level. #TheLastofUsPartll (3/n)
People hated the story. They didn't want Joel dead. They didn't want to play as Abby as she killed their favorite character.
I don't understand why stories always revolve only around the protagonist (4/n)
But this game showed you two different worlds. That of Ellie and Abby. Both had their own reasons. You just can't play one part and come to conclusions. Every coin has two faces and this was just like that! (5/n) #TheLastofUsPartII
In the last fight I didn't have the strength to fight against Abby. I mean, look at the woman in the first place. But neither could I give up on fighting cuz I felt very bad for Ellie. Eventually, I had to fight against her. (6/n)
The ending left me numb. Totally numb. There were tears when Joel talks to Ellie and how he would do it all again if given a chance. That was my favorite part of the game. I had a tear rolling down my eye when he said that. (7/n)
But the ending was heart-wrenching. I would like to assume that Ellie finally found peace, travelled to Jackson and lived with Dina and JJ forever happily. (8/n) #TheLastofUsPartll
Due credit to @Naughty_Dog and @Neil_Druckmann. Though you've left me mindfucked and incomplete, I don't think there will be a game like this ever. I'm actually lost for words and I can't express my feelings properly. Definitely gonna think about the game before I sleep (9/n)
Criticisms are gonna be there. Everyone actually wants a happy ending and no one wants to face the reality. This game showcased reality. You might hate this game and I would definitely like to know why, but this game will forever be etched in my heart. (10/10) #TheLastofUsPartll
