Struggling to get myself out on the bike today - but I've heard whispers that more magic wands are setting themselves up in soldier-like rows in the city centre. So - off to see them 
Well - at least the driver only parked on the double yellows and not our precious wands!
Then saw this guy drive straight onto the pavement 
Then I stopped to admire the lovely planters

Then I cycled through the magic wands and after that a boy racer shot past.
Then I cycled on this - nice cones - are these for 
?

Then I cycled past the delivery vehicle - nothing coming the other way (more boy racers tho) 
Now the advisory cycle lane - no prob - have got this!

Stop to admire large gull having his tea.
Quick - leg it, nothing coming - hate this junction and those railings (good bike parking in festival though).
First dangerous incident of night - close-passed, shouted at and beeped at by two drivers - had to ride onto pavement as third driver revving and beeping on my tail. Should have taken the roundabout route through housing estate. This corner/road is a death trap for cyclists.
Phew! Into the Innocent Tunnel. All quiet - but many people don’t like it at night - can feel scary.

Oh no! Barrier down in Hope Lane! @MaureenChild1 - are you aware? @edinhelp - if this is supposed to be up it needs to be put back in place.
That’s the tour over. Boy racers were heading into Holyrood Park - whuch is why no one sensible will cycle through it. Apart from that, roads were quiet which meant I could get a good look at the road markings.
