THREAD: Every team's most underrated player this season (note: I used the minimal time I watched some of this players along side stats from the official PL app and http://whoscored.com ) RTs are very much appreciated this took me two fucking days. Two whole daysss
Norwich: emiliano buendia.
A weak entry to start with. Buendia definitely isnt as underrated as some of the people on this list since Norwich have about 3 good players. BuendĂa puts up great numbers for anyone in the league. Let alone for norwich
The argentine averages 2.5 key passes and 3.2 dribbles per game which are great numbers which translate fairly to his 7 assists in the league this season. Combo that with only being dispossessed only about 2.5 times /g and 3.1 tackles and interceptions/g which is great for NC
Aston villa: Matt Targett

The left back isnt talked about much and even sometimes being slated by some people even though he's had a pretty good season (relative to villa obviously)
Targett has been a good asset on both ends of the pitch for villa and his one goal and two assists dont reflect his 1 key pass/game. Mainly down to the fact villa have no real CF. Defensively been solid too. Racking up 3.8 tackles and interceptions per game
Bournemouth: Diego Rico. Was pretty hard to find a player for Bournemouth considering this is by far their worst seasons since they were promoted. Their attack has been atrocious compared to previous seasons. One player who has been okay for them though has been LB diego rico
The Spaniard has made 22 / 31 available appearances this season through being involved in all 4 of
b-mouth's clean sheets making 5 tackles & interceptions /G so it isnt just luck. He also offers an OK attacking out put with 1 key pass and 1.5 crosses /g
Watford: etienne Capoue

another year, watford relegation. Was pretty easy to find a player for them tho. Etienne Capoue has been great. One of their best players in fact.
The frenchman is a defensive powerhouse avging 5.1 T&I/G. Not the most adept attackingly (he's a dm) he has still racked up 2 assists this season and can control the tempo of the game pretty well averaging 50 passes per game (which is great for a team with low possession stats)
Brighton: Adam Webster

A pretty average season for brighton. Still relegation threatened. But Graham Potter has been trying to play more "progressive" football which has brought a different dynamic to Brighton
Adam webster is one of the main parts of Potter's back 5. He makes 2.5 T&I/Game alongside 3.2 clearances and over 62 passes/G. These stats show a well rounded CB which could fit it in a bigger team even proving to be a aerial threat with 3 goals and 3.5 successful aerial duels/g
Newcastle: Federico Fernandez

NUFC have had a pretty okay season by their recent standards. Performed okay under big Sam who was written off before the season
One of the most important players for them has been Argentinean CB federico fernandez proven by the fact that despite making 22 starts only hes been involved in 9 out of nufc's wins coming out with goal involvements(2G 1A) aswell as defensive involvements (2.4 T&A, 6 clears)
Southampton: James ward prowse

Underperformance as a whole this season but due to one man who has been on fire this season the whole team has gone under the radar.
JWP has been exceptional this season. All round great season. His face stats are very good with 5 goals and 3 assists but under that is 1.4 shots/g, 1.6 key passes/g and 1.6 crosses/g alongside 3.9 T&I/g and you have someone who runs a midfield from back to front
Everton: Mason Holgate

Everton have relatively underperformed this season. But since the period with Duncan ferguson and Later Ancelotti they have improved drastically. The main recognition goes to the attackers (Mainly DCL and Richarlison)
I want to point out the versatile mason holgate. Holgate has mainly played as a CB tho sometimes filling in midfield or at RB.
Holgate averages over 3 T&I/g with 41 passes and a 81% pass accuracy including 4 long balls/g also coming out with 3 assists in the process
Crystal Palace:PVA
A pretty good season of the eagles all things considered. No relegation scrap and a pretty comfortable midtable finish. Nothing much to say really
One of their most important this season has been Patrick van Aanholt. The dutch fullback has been involved in play both attackingly and defensively. Racking up 3 G & 1 A with 1.1 key passes and 1 cross alongside 3.1 T&I/g and is beat on the dribble less than once /g
Arsenal: Nicolas Pepe.

Arsenal have had a horrid season. There is no two ways about it. No real fight in the team. No one really playing apart from saka, Auba, leno and Pepe
A player that opposition fans love to unjustly slate. The Ivorian winger has had a pretty good first season in the Premier league with 11 goal involvements in 19 starts with 1.7 shots,1.5 key passes, 2.5 dribbles and 1 cross. Not bad for a flop
Sheffield United: Oliver Norwood

The biggest surprise this season has to be Sheffield United. No one expected them to be flying so high right now. We all expected relegation for wilder's men but here they are.
Their most underrated player has to be Oliver Norwood. The beating heart of SHU's midfield. Norwood seems to do all of the work in the midfield. Racking up 3.1 T&I, almost 2 dribbles, 56 passes, 6.4 long balls and 1.5 crosses while maintaining an 82% pass accuracy all per game.
Burnley: Chris Wood

Since the 17-18 season where Burnley finished 7th and nearly qualified for europe things have gone slightly downhill. But they currently sit in 8th place proving that they are having quite an underrated season.
when it comes to Burnley players you think of pope or Tarkowski. Not Wood who has scored 11 goals. 1 more than Richarlison and the same as Pukki. His goal tally is quite deserved too with 2 shots and 4 aerial duels won per game. Perfect for Burnley and just 3 goals off Rashford
Tottenham:Dele Alli

Tottenham have had a wierd season. From sacking their best ever manager in poch to hiring an even better manager yet less fitting for the team in Mou. They seem like they've had a worse season than they actually have while currently sitting in 7th
With persistent injuries and setbacks to Kane and Son. Someone had to step up and IMO alli did so expertly racking up 8 goals and 4 assists in just 21 starts. Alli in an all rounder with an eye for goal and decent passing proved by his 1.8 shots/g and 1 key pass
Wolves: Willy boly

Wolves have had a brilliant season all things considered. And are still in with a big shout for ucl football The brilliance of Jiminez and Adama has been key for that success. But so has the defence and one man who has revitalised that Defence is CB willy boly
Boly has been one of the league's most underrated for a couple of years now and one of the most important players in NES' back 3 proven by the fact that 10 of wolves' 11 clean sheets have come in boly's 16 appearances which is Mad!
He avgs 4.3 T&I/g which is massive for a
Man utd: Nemanja matic.
Utd have had a pretty good season still within 5 points of 4th place Chelsea but injuries to marcus rashford, pogba and martial alongside easy points dropped against smaller teams. They wouldve had third place secured
A man who has been only getting his much deserved credit recently. Matic is a with a very good eye for a pass. With 2.8 T&I alongside 1 dribble combo that with about 58 passes all /game aswell as the fact 7 of utds 10 clean sheets have come in his starts
Chelsea: Willian (that hurt

Frank lampards men have had a brilliant season considering their squad. Unable to make signings Frank had to rely on Sarris squad minus hazard the club's youth set up but amongst the brilliance of mount and kova. One man who has been slated is willian
The Brazilian has had one of his best season in a blue shirt leading the club for chances created/g and assists (alongside azpi who I couldve included
Taking 2 shots and making 2 key passes/g alongside 1.8 dribbles and 1.3 crosses which makes his 6 goals and 5 assists pretty fair
Liecester: Jonny Evans

Liecester have had an exceptional season so far (only slowing down recently) currently in 3rd place and firmly grasping onto that UCL place. Everyone talks about vardy, soyuncu, madders and Ndidi. But one of their MVPs of the season has to be Jonny Evans
The CB has been Essential to Rodgers team this season only missing about 120 minutes the whole season. More minutes than any outfielder in liecester's squad. A solid defender and a good passer Evans combines 2.6 T&I/g and 64 passes/g to create a consistent well rounded defender
Man City:David Silva

By their levels City have had a pretty bad season. Never really challenging Liverpool at any point since about Nov . Everyone talks about the brilliance of KDB but one of the best and most underrated players in the history of the league is D. Silva
Silva has had yet another good season with little to no recognition picking up 4 goals and 7 assists in just 18 starts. Known as the magician its no surprise to see him play 50 passes with 1.5 key passes and 1 dribble all per game
Liverpool: Couldn't find any

All Liverpool players seem very fairly rated or in some cases overrated (Henderson)

Honorable mentions to Matip (Not alot of appearances tho hes great), wijnaldum (Agenda) or Alisson (Hes World class we all know it)
West ham: Fucking hell

They don't have a single good player this season other than rice and hes definitely not underrated. I genuinely don't know. Would love to hear any suggestions
