Alrighty, so I yell about TERFs a lot because their ideology isn't in a vacuum. They aren't just annoying assholes yelling online. They directly harm people.

I believe the two biggest stories on my feed right now are two sides of the same TERFy coin.
The first story is Rowling's bullshit in the middle of pride month. The other story is the revelation that Menlo Park Church, run by the Ortberg family, was protecting their own pedophile son at the expense of their trans son.
When Danny Lavery first brought up the problem to his father, way back in November, his father said he had no standing on the issue because he is trans.
TERFs, likewise, believe that all trans people are either confused lesbians (trans men) or violent men masquerading as women (trans women). This is connected to Ortberg's conclusion that his own son had no moral standing to object to his brother working with children.
This is why I yell about TERFs. They are in no way "just stating their opinion" or whatever. Their ideology exacts very real harm.
