1. Short #Covid19 vaccine thread:
@WHO says 17 vaccines are in human trials around the world at this point: 7 in China, 4 in the US, 2 in the UK* & 1 each in Russia, South Korea, Australia & Germany.

2. Of the 17 #Covid19 vaccines in human trials, 9 are in Phase 1, 6 are in Phase 1/2, 2 are in Phase 2, 1 is in Phase 2b/3 & 1 is in Phase 3. The Phase 3 is one of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines. 3. Pfizer today posted a preprint of the Phase 1 trial of its #Covid19 vaccine (it too is testing multiple candidates).
