Many hereditarians will tell you they consider 16% of African Americans and 50% of Africans to be intellectually disabled (old term was mentally ret*rd*d). I simply didn't realize that many just believe we function differently under that designation.
I honestly didn't know this was a thing. I've been in a couple conversations lately where it seemed like a struggle to get a hereditarian to say things which were logical consequences of their positions.

But seriously, doesn't common sense say that if
- IQ is a universally fair metric
And:
- IQ <70 implies intellectual disability
- Black people with IQ <70 don't match expectations of intellectual disability
Then... maybe IQ isn't a universally fair metric?

The question about the metric is the easy part. Just imagine being so convinced that black folks are intellectually inferior that one can just shut their brains off when it comes to a logical gap that should make one question everything.
