If your Paperwork is not in prior to the 15th of the month, you can expect the following months payments to be as LATE as 5 Business Days.

DO NOT MAIL IN PAPERWORK!
The Offices are still CLOSED.

CERB Deductions are fully enforced as of July 1st

Some ETW Clients are reporting that they have been completely cut off from Benefits without warning.

The temporary COVID Allocations expired as of June 30th

You will need to reapply again & provide 90 days Bank Statements

Some AISH Clients are reporting
unexpected Deductions ABOVE
what they were told to expect based on CERB Clawbacks.

This appears to be affecting mostly
Single AISH Recipients.

* Overpayment Acknowledgement
* Suspension of Benefits
* Updated Contact Information
regarding returned mail
* AHS/AW/AISH/CoE/Health/Fire
Safety Inspection Changes

Random Deductions are being reported by ETW / BFE Clients.
In the amounts of $60 to over $100

Clients are specifically being told
to await Monthly Deposit Slip before calling in regarding " Budget Adjustments "

Missing July Rental Payment /
Shorted Rental Payments

It appears as though the UCP
have indeed " de-indexed " Medical Rental Supplements / Additional Shelter Payments.

For a Single Parent - $58
For a Family of 3+ - $87

Regardless of Letter From Dr.
Confirming Need

Health Benefit Cards will be delayed until sometime next week because today is a Holiday.

Same goes for anyone expecting their Benefits to be mailed out.

Eviction notices in our building are
posted as of this morning.

If you have an Independent Student in your Household who is 18/19
Or is turning 18/19 & you were unable to have their School confirm Fall Enrollment.

You WILL NOT receive the $205 IS
Benefit for the months of July/August OR September

There will be no Backdating of Benefits

Side Notes

If you deferred Rent/Utilities
due to COVID but cannot pay,
even though you received full regular monthly Benefits.

You are not guaranteed to be eligible for Utility Reconnection / Eviction Funding.

If approved it will be an automatic 10% Deduction repayment

With Food Bank Appts not being available regularly and Grocery Vouchers NOT being issued.

Please pick up a few extra items for yourself if you can afford to.

I'm seeing too many Requests for Help going unanswered. FB Groups are overwhelmed.
