The @barstandards knew in March that coronavirus was going to impact our exams.
By April they knew an entire cohort would need to sit their exams in August.
In May they signed a contract with an online exam provider.

In May they signed a contract with an online exam provider.
On 1 June, students wrote to the BSB to challenge the lack of consideration given to disabled students and others unfairly affected by the plans.
On 15 June, they replied to say that everything was going to be fine, they just needed time to iron out the issues with providers.

Now, with the exams only a few weeks away, providers are contacting students in a panic because apparently there's only 24 hours for adjustments to be agreed and test slots booked!
Unsurprisingly: records on who needs adjustments are wrong or out of date; students at different institutions are getting contradictory info; some campuses aren't opening for in-person testing for those who need it; students have to source new medical evidence with a day's notice
This whole thing has been a mess and I don't even know what can be done at this stage to rescue it...
