I'm a broken record but I don't see how schools can even pretend to open at the end of summer. We all know all the protocols being proposed are less feasible than roller skates for kittens, but we're just gonna wait and see anyway? In case of miracle?
We KNOW students can't social distance.
We KNOW teachers won't be protected.
We KNOW schools are hotbeds of germs (not a knock against parents, kids, or custodians, everyone is doing their best but it's too many ppl in too small a space).
We KNOW the pandemic isn't over.

I know the government doesn't I care about schools being safe spaces for teachers or students and @BetsyDeVosED doesn't care if we live or die. I know the GOP thinks us getting killed is worth the price of freedom.

Also all schools should be releasing statements unequivocally saying that Black Lives Matter and then we should be investigating all practiced from the top down to ensure it's not just lip service. That can be done while social distancing and teaching from home.
