Today's episode of "We find it regrettable that we can't go on a holiday to Greece and infect them with corona" SE 5333, DK 605, FI 328, NO 250, GRE 192 https://ourworldindata.org/coronavirus/country/sweden?country=SWE~DNK~FIN~NOR #bytstrateginu #coronasverige #coronavirussweden #swedenindenial
The Foreign Minister Ann Linde (of a recent disastrous interview's fame) has actually released a strong statement. Why can't we good Swedes go on a holiday to Greece this summer? It shows arrogance and lies from the Swedish side, again https://twitter.com/AnnLinde/status/1278222091733602308
Perhaps Greece is bullying us for no reason whatsoever. Not that Sweden has a higher number of deaths per week compared to Greece or anything like that
Last comparable date (June 20th) Greece found one positive case every 220 tests. Sweden found 1 every 12. Source https://ourworldindata.org/coronavirus/country/sweden?country=SWE~GRC
Sweden finds an average of 1000 cases a day, Greece less than 20. Come on Greece you snobs, let us in!
Within this creepy, silent Swedish consensus, why are there so few occasion in the mainstream to broadcast the questions that everybody should have a right to ask (and many at the periphery are asking)?
Such as:
- why are we stubbornly allowing such a high rate of infection?
- why are we pursuing herd immunity, amidst all the risks it carries and against the international consensus?
- why do we still have the same people at the helm, after their series of egregious mistakes?
Why are we getting used to over 170 deaths a week, when our neighbors are managing 2/3 or less? Are we incapable of saving lives? Is that too much of a cost to our "freedom"? Or is that we simply don't care?
