Watering your #roses is ever so important for their health. Whether you are a beginner or a rose enthusiast, it can be confusing to know how often to water. Today, we’re going to share our best recommendations for new roses, established roses and roses in pots.
New roses that have been planted in the last three months need #watering twice a week this time of year. If the #weather is very hot, then water them every other day.
Established #roses planted four months or longer require #watering once every two weeks from May to September. If the weather is very hot then water once a week.
Have you #planted your roses in pots or containers? From now until September, these will need to be #watered every other day. If the weather is very hot, then water them every day.
From October to February, you won’t need to water any of your #roses.
Lastly, from March to April, you are unlikely to need to water your #roses. If there is a prolonged dry spell, then water any new roses or roses in pots.
