People need to keep me out of their conversations about things other “Muslim comedians” are saying or making jokes out of. Many of you still have family that wear Taweez and visit juju professors. I’ve been unapologetically Muslim before it became fashionable
Then talk about “all Muslim comedians mock the Deen” why not keep the same energy for racists and fraudsters that run so many muslim organisations
Oh and “a true muslim wouldn’t do comedy”.. lol meanwhile your uncle owns a business that sells alcohol, or you work in an industry that sells interest/you eat and drink from riba but yea comedians are the real problem
Oh so you’re a cab driver? Which means you profit directly from people being too drunk to go home and even take them to places they can engage in haramity and take them home after they have haramalized themselves? Mashallah but yea it’s comedians that are the problem
Then you complain that we aren’t good role models while you say worse things at home in front of your kids than these comedians do onstage.. furthermore you complain he mocked dua (which I agree is foolish) but at home do you even pray though?
Go to my local masjid, ask of me.. the imam knows me.. the students of knowledge know me.. ask them of my aqeedah. Once again, yes I’m not perfect and have made mistakes but to say I would ever mock the Deen is just nuts.
Don’t compare me to anyone.. I am me and there is a whole body of work showing what I’m about good and bad. But nobody can ever say that I haven’t stood firm and made my pride in my beliefs known.
Been proudly Muslim and unapologetically black even when I knew it would cost me opportunities, that is what I rep.. not left or right wing politics and silly politicians. Old school south London akhi and proud of it. Now go learn to recite Al Fatiha properly
