- A little guide on SW Twitter -

Image ratios, how engagement works, how to avoid and get out of shadowbans, the use of lists, automation of posts and useful little things to improve your Twitter presence 💜
This is a compilation of the many things I've been learning through years on Twitter. With time I have started getting great quality clients from it. I'll be QRTing what I find useful and adding info of my own or simplifying it
First of all, we always say this, but BE YOU. This is a marketing tool like no other. It's not an ad, it's a full facade of your personality, likes and a glimpse into your daylife. Many clients love to see that and you can have someone lurking for a while and finally booking +
because they have seen your personality and feel that you will match. That's something ads can't give. Not saying that you shouldn't use ads, but definitely treat Twitter differently from normal ads.
You may be afraid of expressing all your opinions here, specially if they are political or controversial. Do what makes you feel comfortable. You will lose clients for this or that, but will also EARN them for the same this or that. In the end not everybody likes you, but +
there's people who will absolutely love your way of thinking. There are SWers who get more clients when they get controversial and some others do when they get more silent. Everyone has its type, so do what makes YOU feel at ease with using Twitter. That's the important part.
Because it will reflect. Sometimes people can notice if you are uncomfortable tweeting. And the opposite too. It's subtle but it can be perceived. So first and foremost, decide what you want to show from yourself and just be you without fear. There's someone who will love it.
An interesting thread on which words to use for SEO, that may be useful for Twitter too: https://twitter.com/blackashconsult/status/1190670081178710016
I change the words I use depending on the context. If I'm on a SW rights discussion or simply talking about myself personally I'll most probably use sexworker. If I want to talk about marketable things I may use escort instead. Know your words, use them wisely.
- Image ratios -

You may have seen many of us already using two pictures by default. This makes vertical images more easily seen, like in this case:
Now if I only pulled one, the result would be a cropped ugly preview that could make people less interested in clicking on it. Look:
However it can work if your pic is in landscape format, like here:

- Engagement -

A simple and quick explanation: https://twitter.com/DnDeej/status/1223798927234867201
Try to make your viewers engage with you. You can ask questions, say something that may prompt responses, tell a joke or something that will move them, anything!
For example I have a friend who offered to send a nude to everyone who commented, RTed and liked her post. That post had enormous engagement, well, for obvious reasons 🤭

You don't have to send nudes if you don't want to, but it's just an example of trying to use the system.
Or you can upload two pics, black and white and in colour, and ask your audience what they prefer. Or two lingerie sets. Or two outfits. Or two different pics.

This not only increases engagement, but gives you a bit of a market study of your own brand's perception with opinions.
Okay, the big thing. - SHADOWBANS -

In case you don't know what this is, is something Twitter says they don't do but they actually do. You're not properly banned from the platform, but your engagement is shit. Your posts are barely seen and you can't be found.
How to know if you're shadowbanned? You can check it in places like this: https://shadowban.eu/
If you are shadowbanned, or if that website doesn't tell you but you still think could be (it can happen), this video is amazingly useful (written version in next post): https://twitter.com/forestbonnieMFC/status/1257702351135277062
1. Do not post too much in a row, or comment, or like, or RT. Not more than 2 a minute, because Twitter can think you're a bot.

2. Unlink your automatic posting from other websites, like OF, AVN, Fancentro, etc.

3. Don't post links to OF, maybe once a day only.
4. Don't leave Twitter for too long.

5. Shadowbans ONLY LAST 72 HOURS. if you are shadowbanned for longer is because you keep doing these things and it gets reinstated.

6. Don't use hashtags.

7. Comment, reply, RT and QRT other people.

8. Post pics with less text.
9. Don't reply to OF/AVN promo threads with the same picture and text. They can flag it as spam since it's the same thing over and over.

- Use of lists -

Want to engage more with a specific group (your city, kinks offered, etc) but you feel lost in a sea of providers and can't easily remember which one is which?

There can be groups for that, and I recommend joining them, but lists do a quick job.
Here's a quick view of my lists. I didn't want to bother everyone in London neither every @KLECollective member, so I made my own lists to engage with them. The third one is from a small group to engage with each other.
You can make lists private or public, so you can make a list to use for yourself, or one to be useful for an entire group if you share the link or when they get notified that they have been added to the list (only if it's a public one).
- Automation of tweets -

This may not be the best advice since it could lead you to a shadowban if you abuse it, but it can serve well if you just need a pic here and there at times you want to be doing other things. Twitter has this useful tool for it: https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/
This is an overview of mine, you can configure it to see what you want to track only, it's pretty useful. You can schedule posts from there, for example if you want to publish your new photo session pulling out a pic each week. Just fire and forget. But use wisely!

Always remember this. Not everyone is in the same position. Not everything you see here can be useful for you, and do not let anyone shame you because you are not able to do some things others can: https://twitter.com/TheEllaWest/status/1195397222126493696
We are a community, we are all persecuted, silenced, banned. Some in a higher degree than others. Be kind to each other, help when you can. Let's try to bring everyone to an even playing field.
Last advice: engagement doesn't mean replying to the infamous "reply guys". If you feel in your gut that that follower isn't going to ever book, don't even bother to engage. There are SWers and clients worth engaging to. You will eventually learn who is worth of your time 💜
If I have forgotten anything or you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!

Stay safe 💜💜💜
