My experience from one week of cold showers.

I saw few people endorsing cold showers regularly and swear by its benefits

So I wanted to try and see it for myself what the fuss is all about.

The first day just the thought of getting a cold shower literally sent chills down my spine

I thought it is a good idea to ease into it

So what did I do?

Adjusted the knob of the shower, so I get lukewarm water for a minute and then slowly turned off the hot water completely⏬
I did this for a couple of days and I could see that I felt more relaxed and calm.

Now on the third day, it was time to step up and face the cold water head-on from the get-go!

And I can say that this really changed the game

You need to shock your body with cold water that is when you will see the real benefits.

Some noticeable improvements in this short time:

✅ Improved alertness
✅ Better Mood
✅ Quick recovery from exercise

- Plateau -

I am going to continue with cold showers with an occasional mix of warm showers.

It is important to mix it up as the benefits will reduce once you hit the plateau.

Once you hit the plateau you can notch it by adding ice cubes

Conclusion:

I wholeheartedly recommend that you try cold showers.
