Just had a 100% definitely real conversation with a British couple who have a holiday home near us. They were grotesque caricatures of my political opponents and they told me things that confirm all of my existing political opinions.

Now the wife has phoned my wife, crying, “The best way to achieve social justice is not through personal atonement rituals but by focusing on material policy changes and redistribution, framed as universal values rather than as narrow identarian concerns.”
