Pinch, punch! Today marks the start of July; around this time two years ago I was thinking of applying to University. I was nervous about going to University, (specifically as a mature student) & how I would fit in / if I could actually do it etc. I applied through #Clearing 1/4
in August, & I applied right here, through Twitter! As I had limited recent educational experience & slightly less UCAS points than required, I went through #Clearing - I started to study a Foundation Year in Tourism, Hospitality & Events and I’ve just completed Year 1 2/4
of my Tourism degree. I really feel the Foundation Year @UCLan helped me to adapt to being back in education after a long time, and it prepared me for study at higher level. I’m grateful for the opportunity and am so happy studying here! I’m looking forward to Year 2😊 3/4
